Empowering Women in Music: Mdundo and Women in Music SA Launch Transformative Masterclass Series

Mdundo.com, Africa’s leading music service platform, has joined forces with Women in Music South Africa (WIM SA) to launch an exciting new initiative — the Women in Music x Mdundo Masterclass Series. The partnership marks a powerful step toward empowering women in the African music industry through education, mentorship, and digital transformation.

The first session, titled “From Passion to Platform: A Women in Music x Mdundo Masterclass on Digital Fan Growth & Artist Visibility,” will take place on 25th November 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM SAST.

The masterclass will be facilitated by Linda Mzapi, Mdundo’s Marketing & Partnerships Manager for South Africa. Joining her on the panel are: Shiran Weltsman, Vice Chair of Membership at Women in Music, Amanda Uzoagba, Head of Licensing, West Africa, Mdundo,Etim Okon, Senior Manager: Marketing & Partnerships, West Africa, Mdundo, and William Abagi, Marketing Lead & Strategic Partnerships, East Africa, Mdundo.

Together, the panel represents a pan-African perspective on how technology, marketing, and creative innovation can bridge gender gaps in the music industry and open new pathways for visibility and growth.
